Is the centerforce throwout bearing any stronger than the stock ford throwout bearing??

Probably? Instead of spending the extra money on that bearing, but yourself a steel bearing retainer and a firewall adjuster/aluminum quadrant setup. Make sure the cable isn't adjusted too tight so you're throw out bearing doesn't spin when the car is in neutral and it'll live a long and happy life.
