I picked up a set of rears (the 5-way adjustable iluminas) and the adjuster label thingy (showing the 5 positions) seems weird. How do you index it? It's loose and I can "start" it apparently wherever I want? anybody?

How do I know where 1 through 5 are?

Its been awhile since I adjusted my rears but if i remember correctly there is a flat spot on oneside. Take the cap the side with the tab at the bottom and push that down on the flat side.

ditto. just try to match up the flat side with the flat side of the cap.

If I remember correctly, don't turn it backwards. In other words, if you're at 5 and you need to go to 1 do it through the numbers 5-4-3-2-1. I read on the documentation not to go passed 5 directly to 1. Something about it being unable to adjust properly after that.

Someone step in if i'm talking outta my @ss over here, [Razz] it's been a while since I have adjusted mine or read any info on it...
