Can anyone help me i have a stock 99 cobra conv. I want to race my buddy with his 2001 camaro ss 6spd . Tell me what can i do to my car so i can beat him.with out putting a supercharger on my car, what if I put long tube bbk headers and 4:10 gears in it do u think I can smoke him with that. If not what else can I do?

Isay that with some dragradials and depends how good you both drive

you could always just add a cheap 75 dry NOS shot
(COMPUCAR NOS IN A BAG)

that would be safe and you would leave him in the dust [Big Grin]

With some Longtubes, an offroad Hpipe, pulleys, 4.10 gears, and drag radials, you should smoke him.

It depends on how good of a driver he is. He has more power than you, so you need to pull away from him at the start and hope he doesn't catch up. 4.30's or 4.56's, ET streets, off road H pipe and underdrive pullies... take that setup to the track and learn how to DRIVE IT into the 12's, then race him.
