What car alarms would you guys reccomend? Right now I am looking at the Viper 600 series with the pager so I will be able to know in my dorm room if my car is going off. I really like the pager option and I was wondering if there were any other alarms out there that you think is better than this alarm or any pros/cons about this alarm.

low jack is good but if someone just breaks into your car then low jack is useless .the viper is excellent but when shopping for look into viper, sidewinder, python, hornet they are all sold by the same company called DEI ,they have also bought clifford .the pager is great you might also want to get a radar sensor ,which will warn away anyone who gets to close to your stang.with the viper it is the most popular and the most expensive ,just because thats the one people know ,but for the same money you can get a sidewinder .i have had mine for 3years and no problems ,i have a sidewinder 6500with remote start window rollup ,window automation, battery back up.6 tone siren paging unit, radar sensor, auto headlights, and the and an indor siren that will deafen any one who does get in but i am an installer ,so i did it myself for cheap money ,anymore questions let me know
