I have a slow pos 96 gt convertible(5 spd) thats pretty much stock except for k&n, flows, and a 100 shot of n20. I'm wondering which gears to get. I'm afraid with 4.10's my 1st gear may go by too fast, my car might automatically light em up at 3K when the nitrous comes on, or that I will run out of rpms at the end of the track. At the same time my car has so little going for it due to the weight factor and the crappy heads it comes with, that I need all the gear I can get.

Also where in the Concord,Pleasant Hill,Walnut Creek area, should I get them done at?

i had an '89 notch 5-speed......100 shot and 4.10's
You won't run out of gear..but it gets up there.
i would say about 5300-5500 through the traps in the 1/4
I will do it again...but maybe not on a daily driver.
That car w/ et streets and south sides, went 12.50's at about 110

if you guess wrong, you can always get a little more 'gear' by grabbing a bigger tire.
28" slicks vs. the standard 26" slick.

If you want the best performance, you'll pick 4.10s. Otherwise you'll get something else and "we told you so", lol.

(I have 3.73s, but that's just what came in the rear end I got a good deal on)
