I'm going to replace my water pump tomorrow with some friends. This will be a first, so I was wondering if you guys have any tips to give me, or recommendations from your experiences...thanks

If you are replacing the pump don't worry about hurting it. It isn't a hard job at all, just takes a couple hours.

Whatever you do don't use a paper gasket! I blew out my Stewart paper gasket after running the car for 5 min. Use Fel-Pros or a whole lot of gasket-maker. I did the latter and haven't had any leaks for over a year now.
