Ok I went to the track, and I ran 14.5 @ 94 in my 99 Auto GT . Now my friend who has a Buick Regal GS goes and runs a 14.4 @ 95 now he has his car dyno'd earlier that day at 198hp and 220tq. He had a 2.1 60ft and I had a 2.2 60ft. Am I wrong or don't I have more power than him? His car isn't lite since its a 4 door sedan and we both have around the same r/d gears. Only thing is I ran mine at Sears Point and he ran his at Sac. WTF is up with this?

sounds like for all intents and purposes, the difference in effective HP/weight is more or less a push. Consider the density altitude of the days when the respective cars were run as the final factor (e.g. cold vs. hot, humid vs. dry, etc.)

btw, 94 mph seems pretty low for a '99+ GT, you may need a tune-up.

for every tenth in 60ft, figure about 2-3 tenths in ET. Just how it is. Sac is also usually about a tenth faster. At least back in the day. I havent been to Sears on the new track yet. Things are probably different now.
