Author Topic: Does anybody know??? VNMKING ¯ Member # 480 posted                              I have a noise coming from my passenger side valve cover on my 98 cobra that sounds like a lifter tick. Does anybody know how much it would cost to replace one??? Its not a lifter its the hydraulic timing chain tensioner.. the pads wear down after time and it will sart to do that.not the biggest problem but its annoying to say the least.. try a thicker oil and see if that helps..
