I've read mixed reviews on this. Just wondering if anyone has tried it and what was the change that you experinced.

Its a hit and miss hacked job. I'm highly against rigged and hacked mods. If you can find another stock one and play with it/track test it, I'd go for it... but don't hack up your one and only MAF.

I hacked mine - it might have just been in my head, but I think it had a slight deeper tone afterwards. Otherwise, seemingly nothing changed. Nothing bad or good happened.

Yeah, thats the theory behind it... but who's to say with out a wide band O2 meter that a car is running too rich and will benifit from the leaner air fuel ratio?
Many people have idle and drivability problems after doing this hack.
