I have non o-ring tfs heads and have a gaskit from tfs. its a loc wire gaskit, can i use this gaskit on these non o-ring heads?

The TFS heads must have a groove cut into them for the Loc wire to locate. If the heads dont have that cut maid, you should have it done and then you can use those Loc wire gaskets. I have TFS heads that were ported ar the factory and they cut the bowls so much I have to use a big bore head gasket. So take a look at the bowls.

a friend bought 2 sets, with o-ring and with out, but for some reason he wont bring over the non o-ring gaskit, he says this gaskit will work just fine! but i asked a few "big boys" and you guys too, and everyone says you can't, i dont understand

Just buy a graphite felpro or victor reinz from Monument car parts mike.

Starky, i bought that kit of MAtt. so i need the gaskit for the non o ring heads, i know he bought both kits. why would i go buy it somewhere else when i paid him for it?

whatever is easyer, i can bring them to u, i just dont see the point on paying matt the full 120 if he used the gaskits out of my set, but u can pick them up after 5pm il be home from work around then, or i can bring them to u. i just want to slap these heads on feel me?
