Theyre not that hard to do oil changes on are they?? I know they make a mess all over the bottom of the car, but i dont htink it would be worth it to relocate the oil filter for that.

it's just that my car is really low and its a hassel to get my hands in their.....

Then jack the car up. I still don't see why you were trying to do it with your wheels on the ground. Just get your Dad to buy you a better jack and some stands. You know he will.
