What is that amplifier looking thingy located under the passenger side seat in a foxbody? Is that something I can remove if I have a 3rd party stereo installed?

Yeah, I think most of them are there. Looking around about it, I think the '93's are the only ones with the amp under the passenger seat. Just my luck!

Looked at WalMart for the bypass but they didn't have it. Other forums said WalMart would have it. I'll just go to a local audio shop and talk to them about it.

The reason I want to take it out is that I have Satellite radio in my truck. The Pioneer stereo in there is Satellite ready, however you have to buy the Satellite receiver to connect to it and it's an electronic box about the size of that amp, just thinner. I have it under my truck's passenger seat. I want to move it to my Mustang but that amp thingy is in the way under the passenger seat. I really don't want to stash it under the console/stereo as it's already pretty crowded back there with other crap!! It may fit under the drivers seat...I'll have to check it out.
