Where's a good place in the East Bay to get subframes welded on my fox?
What should I expect to pay?

You might try Custom Alignments in Mountain View. They have several track type cars around the shop and understand the reasons behind it.

Just labor, I told them I have the subframes already. 4 hours @ $95/hr.

I've seen maier install subframe connectors on the wrong type of lift an they had to cut them out an re weld them because his doors no longer lined up with his fenders..Make sure that you get it done on a drive on lift, or configure jacks to keep the front and rear suspension loaded

Hey Mark!
Yea I talked to Matt at NexGen, he is definitely doing this with the preload. They also measure and mark the door alignment, especially on the convertibles where there is a lot of flex.

if you want to bring it across the bridge, Meineke in redwood city would be a good shop to take it to.. the owner(Lupe) has a bunch of mustangs and knows about them.. Charges around $200 to install them..
