Ok so im on a budget and want to lower my car about an inch all the way around. But i also want the car to ride good. Would it be a bad idea to cut about 1/4 of a coil? Will it bounce?
Anyone have something cheap for sale that will help me? Thanks [ 2014-10-14, 05:05 PM: Message edited by: SacGrown89GT ]

if you cut the springs then expect a bumpier ride than usual.. You can usually find a set of lowering springs for $100 or less on craigslist.. I sometimes see them for as low as $60 for eibachs, you just gota keep an eye out.. I wouldnt cut it if ride comfort is a factor..

yes sir.. a good set of lowering springs will do the trick.. Most will give you about a 1.5"-2" drop.. If you get a set of 1.5" lowering springs an retain the rubber spring isolators, you will get exactly the drop you are looking for..
