V2 blowers if an S is only slightly better than a v1 S.
The angle cut gears allow it to spin a fraction faster thus outputting a bit more psi.
Having said that most Ive seen them put out on a 351w overspinning them is about 550rwhp. Upgrade it to a T or novi2000.
Overspinning creates heat which creates detonation which creates blown headgaskets or worst.

I think you can do the SI upgrade for about 300-400 dollars. Have heard good things from people who have done this upgrade! How much boost Do You h e now and how much are You shooting for? What's Your pulley sizes?

10 to 12 pounds, its just a stock unit ordered as the <high output> one right below the renegade, im not sure what cut or anything as stock with the high put is detailed as. CAR MADE 400 HP AT 3800 RPM WITH only 3 pounds of boost, my inter cooler wasn't cooling off efficiently so every run i lost a pound of boost, so it got a get home safe tune, so far ive upgraded my heat exchanger 4 times bigger for the air to water intercooler, plus dual fans, an opened up alot of incoming air room in the front bumper set up, it seems to be consistent now, dyno again in a couple days and just was wondering, anyway how can tell if this will be a problem?

its a beatin topic, People overspin them all the time. Add a meth kit if your worried about heat.
You should see 1-2 lb psi drop through a well flowing large intercooler.

I think a S-trim can feed a 351 if it's built right to the limits of the S-trim which around 680hp and the limits of a two bolt main 351 block, so you are seeing 11lbs with a 3.33 pulley? You don't know if you have a V2 S-trim or V2 Si-trim? If it's a S-trim it cost $800 to upgrade it to a Si-trim, you won't see a difference from a S-trim to a Si-trim or T-trim unless spinning the blower higher than 50K impeller speed, I don't think a S-trim can feed all the pipping with an intercooler unless you over spin it, blowers boost level vary from efficiency of the motor, so more efficient the motor the less boost you see, my SQ-trim with a 3.33 pulley made 566rwhp on my 331 and we were only seeing 6lbs of boost. Here is the vortech calculator so you can determine how you are spinning your blower, the more you spin it, the more air inlet temp you will see
