Well the fluid level looks to be good (however I have a aftermarket dip stick.) The trans sat for a few years dry. I put it in my 64 falcon and set the tv pressure correctly. the car is fine on flat land, however when I pull it into my steeper driveway it falls out of gear. Do you think it might need more fluid?

Yes. Add more fluid and see if it helps. What does it do under severe load?

Only does it in the drive way. If I "gas brake" it in the drive way it feels like neutral then jumps into gear like it's loosing pump pressure. [ 2014-04-30, 12:57 PM: Message edited by: 68dustin ]
