My dad's 2000 f150 v6 4.2L has been having the check engine light come and go. I hooked it up to a scanner and got code P0136(Oxygen O2 Sensor Circuit Low Voltage (Bank1, Sensor2)). The only mod I guess you can say is a k&n drop in filter that has been installed for about 6 months. I've checked the connections of the 02 sensors connections all look clean, wires look good. What else should I look for? He said his friend has changed 2 02 sensors already but doesn't know wich ones.

Without monitoring it. The code means the PCM reads 0 volts on that sensor. Meaning dead sensor or open wire or circut. Bank one is passenger side. Sensor 2 is the rear sensor. Or downstream of the cat, furthest away from the exhaust manifold.

Is there anyway I can use volt meter to test it, maybe check resistance or voltage?
