What's the best way of converting a 87 to maf.. I see they have kits available. What about getting a harness off of a 88-89 mustang and going that route and what's involved in doing so..?

BEST way would be the FORD Motorsports pigtail harness but they're hard to find. I used it to convert my '86 to mass air. But I guess the second best would be a harness from a '89.

For the 1987 and non-CA 1988 cars it is easy to convert to MAF using a CA 1988 or 1989 harness.
It is pretty much just a harness swap and adding the MAF and computer, would recommend the correct o2 harness as well.
I have reconditioned conversions available with NICE parts and can do a complete conversion.
