I have an 1981 mustang fox body I was told that it won't pass smog because it has no air valves and other lines that are needed to pass smog also they told me I needed a canister or something like that, does any one have a diagram of smog parts for the mustang? Or can anyone help by tell Inge me what is it exactly what I need I pay if I have to, I just really need help

Sounds like you need most of the stuff in this diagram (not for an '81, but similar). It would probably be a good idea to pick up a repair manual.

A junkyard or Haulinass Motorsports (his user name here)is going to be your best bet. If you're missing all that stuff, buying all the valves and hoses new will cost you more than the car is probably worth (no offense, just all that stuff adds up quick).

Start looking for a 81 factory ford shop manual for smog. Look on ebay and other used book stores. That is what I did for my 83 & 77 mustangs. I bought ever Factory shop manual they made. Or you can google images for a diagram of it.
