When I'm driving my car, it will backfire out the intake manifold in my 1st gear pull, and it feels like it's being choked up.

What can be my problem.

5-speed
E303
Cobra upper and lower ported
70mm TB
24lb injectors set at 40 PSI with vaccum off
Ported E7 heads with trickflow valve springs
Timing is set at 12*

I double checked my timing, it's set at 12* and re stabbed my dizzy twice.

I'm thinking my MAF or a suspected bad IAC "car no longer fast idle"

I am also running an E303 cam and had to bump my timing up to 14* and then 16* to get the fuel to burn properly. Is your balancer in good condition? it could be off if it is not. When I first started my engine after the build I ran 12* timing and the fuel was burning my eyes because it wasn't enough initial timing.

I have stock fuel system though with E7 heads unported + aftermarket springs.

How do your o2 sensors look? have you checked the plugs to see if they are wet?

I replaced my IAC and clean my MAF, the problem is now gone! I'm suspecting my MAF, since it was super filthy!

Thanks for all the help
