My buddy is giving me a complete column from his 85 but he said the lower bearing is shot to crap in pieces. Has anyone ever serviced a bearing for a steering column? Specifically the lower? And does anybody have a PN for thy bearing? Thanks cafords
Ps: I have read a thread on FEP about the upper one already

Honestly if you already got it out, just replace it. Much easier.
The top bearing is easy to get to. Remove steering wheel with puller, unplug horn and srs. Couple more bolts after that and ur there. Was it hard to pull it out?
