going to be building a high compression(shooting for a 13:1CR) 351w bored .030 over so technichally a 357w and wanted to get some input on which parts i should use. gonna have a custom cam and my fuel is going to be e85 since its highly available in my area. SHOOTING FOR A 400-550 HP RANGE....NOW ONTO THE QUESTIONS...What set up would you reccomend to achieve my goals?
-Should I reuse my stock rods/crank and new pistons or buy a whole new rotating assembly if so which one?
-What size injectors(was thinking 42# with a 255lph pump and adjustable aeromotive FPR)
-Which heads? AFR-190S? tf FAC 190S? i want to run a aluminum head to take some weight off the front end since im going to a heavier block.
-Which MAF?
-Intake Manifold/TB combo? Is this manifold and a 75mm tb good enough for what i want to achieve? http://www.summitracing.com/parts/tfs-51511004/overview/make/ford
-headgaskets?
thanks!! [ November 16, 2012, 06:34 PM: Message edited by: coupe5oh ]

Your going to need a lot more injector and pump for E85.

what size injectors? my nxt pump option is the KMS Torker 340LPH pump..but that pump maxes out at 54# injectors so it looks like im either gonna run a cobra tank with dual 340s orr a aeromotive system
so this is what a buddy of mine who has and currently still is running e85 on a high comp 2v
"What ever it runs(meaning what ever injector set up you would run on 91oct) just multiply it by 1.47 which is the stoichometric difference between fossil fuel and ethanol, use that as your guide for making a choice. Mine would have been 24lb injectors so 24 x 1.47 = 35.xx I didn't want to be close to maxxing my injectors out at 36lbs, so I went to 42lbs."
ive heard of ppl running 42# injectors on this set up with 91 oct so if i do the math 42*1.47=61.74..so i should run 62# injectors [ November 16, 2012, 10:18 PM: Message edited by: coupe5oh ]

U want your hp at the wheels or crank?
302 parts will give you 302 performance.
Do that 9.5 deck some justice put a real head on it 205 or up.
