So I did my swap but my voltage is still dropping I dnt have a big streo or anything like that iono why it's doing that any guesses thx?

Check the fuse link on the alt.wire harness and check your voltage regulator on the alt.

Replace your voltage regulator on the instrument cluster. Spray a little contact cleaner on a q-tip and coat the module contacts and the copper connections in the cluster.

Not sure how that works but wouldn't that only give me a false reading and not affect performance?

Na it's accurate it's gotta be the regulator it's jus weird my stock alternator did the same thing...!!! Hella annoying

i did the 130amp swapp running the folowing
strero,4ch amp,dual fans,head lights,and the A/C at idle my car puts out 14.01v if I turn the blower fan on low it is still 14.01v if I switch it to HI it drops down to 13.6v thats still charging but it looks dead on the gauge you have to check it at the BATTERY

I did it dropped to twelve which means its running on battery only ... I raised my idol a little it's better but not there if I'm drivein it's all good jus bad at idol ..

Do you have a one wire 130amp alternator or a 94-95 130amp alternator? The one wire 130amp alternator don't like to charge at idle.

Upgrade to a 200amp. Make sure you have an inline fuse on your existing one and a 200amp one
