Are 2.3 rear springs the same as 5.0 rear springs? I have herd they were just need to confirm.

no, 2.3s are softer, most people use them for drag.

How can I tell the difference? I herd u cut a coil off a 5.0 rear spring for a good drag spring?

I read some where the 2.3 rears are the spring rate they used in 1993 cobra cars... but the front are different but people have alot of success with them for drag and yes there are some companys that recommend just a old 5.0 rear spring cut for drag also
