not sure with t56's. but you will need a different bellhousing, should beable to keep the foxbody flywheel, and get a clutch for a 04 cobra.. and maybe a crossmember, not sure on the rest [patriot]

ok..so good to go there.

1. bellhousing (as you stated) probably be easier to order an after market one..I doubt anyone will have a T56 to SBF bellhousing just laying around

2. crossmember will need to be moved or buy an AJE X-member (easiest thing to do)

3. clutch cable, clutch, and flywheel will be fine but you may need to get a new clutch fork

4. The rear tail splines on a T56 are different than a T5 so you will need to replace your yolk to a 31 spline input...aka a c6/TKO yoke on your drive shaft

5. The speedo cable will probably not work and you may need to convert over to a SN length cable

04 clutch wouldnt work anyways...different size...etc..

you should be okay...as long as the input shaft is a stock 10 spline.

and a fox body speedo cable may not be long enough...I had to put in a cable out of a 96(? i forget) before...but not sure until you put it in

Oh beforeI forget...because the transmission is longer...you'll need to have your driveshaft cut and balanced

Did this swap aswell in a notch with a 363ci sbf...YES U DO NEED THE DRIVLINE CUT /BALANCED,also need 302/t56 bellhousing, clutch u have should work just fine,AJE crossmember is the only crossmember to go with lol,new (custom made) or longer(sn95) speed-o cable, and I used the t5 clucth cable I believe, its been awhile but it all went smooth...good luck [patriot]
