Have the machine shop check springs and see what pressures the cam calls for or else Duncan will probably be right.....

What springs are they? Some manufactures have calculators built into their web site that could help. For example maybe you could go with a different style valve lock to raise the spring height and gain clearance. This will lower the seat pressure though. This also depends on the type of valve locks you have.
