Ok so im getin evrything piced together to do my blower & h/c/i swap on my car....the other day I checked my compression and had about 130psi across all cylinders....my ? Is...is that to low for 8 lbs of boost??

Any info helps

How many miles are on this engine? What year is it? Is it stock or modified? If it is stock it seems about in spec for an 87-95 302. Your cylinder pressure will change if you are using a head with a different sized com. chamber. If they were all pretty close to the same amount of psi I can only assume your rings are in good shape pre-boost anyhow. Just for shuts and giggles test the pressure with the new heads and see what you get

About 90k on it, stock 89 302w. long block w bolt ons......ima b puting on the gt40p heads n reseal all the gaskets...........car runs solid as it is but no top end out of them dam e7's

That will be fine for 8 psi, you could even go more if you wanted to.
