Not sure about the doors but I had to mount my 6x9s from The bottom on my rear Deck...

I went 5x7s up front along with kick panels in the footwells

So you lay in the trunk and drill new holes? I seen stock the mount from under, looks like the would fit tho right? Without cutting anything?

So you left the door speakers?

Yes, didn't have to cut anything just mounted from the bottom instead of the top.....

The fronts I replaced but stock size speakers but with a huge magnet...

I did component 6 1/4 in the front and 5x7 in the back as filler & an 8" sub.

Depending on your stereo needs, component speakers are the better way yo go.

I used to do the standard speaker system, 2way/3-way etc... If you're an audiofile I really suggest keeping the 3/2ways for filler sound. And do components (typical: mid/tweet & crossover) where you will be doing most of your listening <in the front of the cab> Your music will just "POP"; your highs will be highs, lows will be lows. It all depends on what you're into.
Try to match your setup, using RMS ratings for the power rating of the amp & speakers. Dont get a big ole amp and over drive the speakers then all you make is distorted noise.

Do your system right and it will sound awesome all the time.

My setup is all alpine: CDA-9884, MRV-450 5ch amp, MB Quart RCE-216, Lightning audo 5x7 3way(wally world speakers), 6 disc changer, Sirius Radio, and an 8in bazooka.

The bazooka was not the best choice but it worked for what I have. I would like a better sub, to tighten up the bass but could never find one that sounded good. Soundstream used to be one of the best out there but now BLEH... MTX, Fosgate, JL etc, sure they hit but to me it was like a 5dollar hooker.

6x9 in the back will mean some sort of cut, drill n fit. If your patient, creative and take your time you can almsot fit what ever you want.

Corn - where did you find those panels?? I could never find them. fox version??

If your looking for the component kick panels go to qlogic.com and click on the kick panels. From there you just follow instructions. They are 144.95 right now. Work best in an automatic due to not having to work the clutch pedal. They house either a 5 1/4 speaker and 2" tweeter or 6.5" speaker and 2" tweeter but if you use the 6.5 your gonna have to use the grilles that come with them. They sound amazing in these panels.

A component system basically breaks down a 2 way speaker into its seperates. It usually consists of a 5.25-6.5 driver(sub), a 1-2" usually silk dome tweeter, and an external crossover. By seperating the 2 they are able to reproduce the sound at a much higher frequency and much smoother sound. They also usually handle much more power...
