Which one is better? Reliability/power wise. Getting the novi for cheaper but if the S trim is that much better I might as well pay the extra cash.

Not really cutting corners, just asking which setup is better. If the novi is the same or better then the S trim then why spend the extra $

There is NO cutting corners if you're buying a Novi 2k, enjoy a great blower.

So there's no difference between this and the S trim? The S trim wouldn't make more power?

The novi2000 is a way better blower all the way around, novi2000 is good for 900-1000hp, the vortech s-trim is good for 680hp. The hard part of owning a novi2000 is the pulley and belt selection is limited unless you go cogged.

The question is not which one is better. They are both respectable and very reliable blowers. It comes down to your set up. How much boost do you plan on running? Do you have plans to grow? Track car or street car? Anything 14psi and under I'd stick to the s trim. It will build boost slightly faster because of it's smaller housing. Also the s trim is plenty enough for the streets. The novi 2000 will kill the s trim top end, but In order to get it's full potential youll need to spin it for about 20 psi. Anyways your comparing an s trim to a novi 2k which is sort of an unfair comparison. The T trim is further more comparable to the novi 2k. Always build for the future, but if your telling us you can get a novi 2k for less than an s trim I'm a bit worried.

Novi2000 has great low end just like the S-trim, novi2000 is more comparable to a vortech YS- trim on the top end.
