WELL FOUND OUT WAT WAS WRONG WITH MY E BRAKE AND NOT SURE HOW TO INSTALL THIS PART

Do yourself a favor and pick up a Haynes Manuel. It has pictures that show what needs to be done. To release the load on the handle you have to remove the center console. Hope this helps. I just did mine last week.


Haynes Manuel Chapter 9 page 17

DO NOT release the spring with out inserting a drill bit or a punch through the adjuster wheel. If you do, the spring-loaded adjuster reel will unwind and the entire parking brake lever assembly will have to be removed in order to rewind the adjuster mechanism.
