my 95 mustang t5 pops out of 1st idk wats wrong i need help. my clutch was going out would that be the prob lmk thanks

do you have an aftermarket shifter? if you do, make sure its adjusted properly. that could be a possiblity, its not allowing it to fully engage first gear.

could be a number of different things. first make sure that theres nothing physically stopping the shifter from going into 1st (causing it to not fully engage 1st gear)
internally it could possibly be "broken" 1/2 shift fork, worn out 1/2 slider/ gear dog teeth or even broken shift keys.

had the same thing in my WC t-5 i had im my svo it would pop out anytime i put a load on it in 1st gear, i ened up being a broken plastic clip/bushing that snaps on to the 1st-2nd shift fork, to shift the syncro slider back and forth, grabbed to new ones from a trans dismantler in hayward fuckin tities afterwards!!!!!!!
