Opinions on the two? I hear a lot of mixed things about both, but so far it looks like the g force is the better deal. The website clames a rough estimate of 600hp 500 ft lbs which is tko territory for about half the price. Any input on pros and cons would be appreciated.

One of the problems with t5's is the cases coming apart, cracking under load, etc. The TKO is a beast, with over double the ribs on the case and lots more material everywhere. The T5 kits are nice but leave the weak link as the stock case.
And a tko600 w/ carbon fiber blocker rings shifts nice, BTW. [ October 05, 2010, 03:41 AM: Message edited by: phildog ]

well I went with a Gforce T-5 blew 3rd gear out of it after a year and a half or so, Then went with a TKO 500 and it worked very well(still does)The gforce shifts sweet but it is not as strong as a TKO no matter what the add says.

Modern driveline wil do it or you can buy them yourself. It's about 225 in parts. They are very knowledgeable and told me it is easy enough that he recommended I do it myself to save money.

I just saw this in the latest Jegs catalog. A G-Force reinforced main case. Not sure how much more power it can handle before coming apart, but looks fairly stout.

Is the a-5 come with a stock t-5 case? G-force case looks stronger.
