I recently have been having over-heating issues. I have changed the following: thermostat(180°), water pump, rad cap and yes have bled the system. It ran fine the past 2 weeks and last thursday i noticed coolant was low. So i topped it off and didnt drive it til this morning. I can smell the coolant burning and weirdly enough after driving it today there is all the coolant in there still??
I just read the other thread on here about over-heating, any other ideas welcome. Thanks

Welcome to my world! lol Could be a intake gasket or head gasket. Pull the spark plugs and do a compression test and follow that up with a leak down tester.

you can rent a compression tester but you'd have to buy the leak down tester. Harbor Freight, $10 for the compression tester and $40 for the leak down tester.
To do the compression test, pull out all the spark plugs. You then screw the compression tester into the spark plug hole. Crank the engine and then record the PSI on the tool. No or low PSI means you have a bad leak. However my car showed good compression when I did this and still had a bad gasket.
The leak down tester does the same thing but you put the cylinder your working on at TOP DEAD CENTER and then screw the tool into the spark plug hole. You can find top dead center by looking at the rotor location inside the distributor. You then hook up your air compressor to the tool and push about 60 psi into the cylinder. If the guage shows that you have a leak, you then check to see where the air is coming out from while the tool is running. Check your tailpipe(exhaust valve leak), oil fill (bad rings), carb(intake valve leak) and your radiator fill cap (head gasket leak).

Here are a few things to check
* Is your radiator clogged? * Is your heater core leaking * Did you blow a head gasket or warp your head when you over heated? * Is your thermostat opening? * Is your fan working?
Good luck
