My car gets an occasional stumble...i'll be driving and every once and while i get a stumble in the acceleration and then right back to normal. Seems to do it more so when cold and more so when I'm in too high of a gear and lug the motor a little. Seems to smooth out and run perfect after 4K rpm...

I have a 306 with edelbrock heads, 1.7 cobra rockers, 255 fuel pump, mass air converted, 24lb injectors, 70 mm tbody/egr and 76mm maf...

I have new plugs properly gapped, new plug wires (accel 8mm), new fuel filter, new fuel pump (255 holley) new ignition coil, new air filter, cleaned maf.

What else could it be? I feel like I have gone through just about everything and the car runs great at WOT going through the gears Any other thoughts or suggestions? Seems like you can hear a small miss at idle but just barely...

Where should I be looking?

Check the fuel pressure. It could be your distributor or TFI. What is your timing set at? Also, do you have any codes?

Changed the ignition module to no avail. timing set at 14 BTDC.

Car runs like total crap when cold and once warm runs nearly perfect but still occasionally stumbles.

Could it be a ground somewhere?

I don't have the codes but my check engine light is on until my EGR simulator plug gets here sometime this week.

Would the local advance auto be able to run the codes?
