Anyone ever install stock front springs without unbolting the A-arm from the k-member? If so ever have problems of the car comming off the jack stand while trying to jack the A-arm up?

is the strut and swaybar disconnected from the lca?
make sure the spring is aligned right in the arm too, pigtail should end between the 2 alignment dots.

put a few fat ass ppl in the car to weigh it down then the spring will compress more.

I always unbolt the A-arm from the K.
I've done a dozen sets of springs and never had a problem.
