Frankly, I have not heard anything great about it. Issues in first and second run castings were the main killer with complaints of oil consumption and poor fitment and fuel leaks being the main problems. My understanding is it's total plenum volume is somewhere in the 4.7-4.8 liter range which is about the same as the Cobra intake. [ August 04, 2010, 06:45 PM: Message edited by: copcar ]

dont waste your time rick..thsi intake was used on a hci 302 and make 303hp so it must be ok

pain of in the ass to install and remove. special one only gaskets.i wouldnt run it just for the hassle, but not sure on flow numbers

IT REALLY SUCKS I HAD ONE AND SWAPPED IT FOR A HOLLEY SYSTEMMAX AND GANIED 25 MORE HP AND 20 MORE TORQUE

That intake in the pic is cool , I've seen the stang that it was on before on corral for sale. But anyhow , the bbk ssi intake really isn't as bad as alot folks say. In one of mm&ff issues they do a comparison between the ssi and cobra intake and the ssi out flowed the cobrA intake by alot...
