Another option would be to buy a plastic tee and tee off one of your existing vaccum lines.

i think that nipple would want ported vacume, so only manifold or carb would work, unless throttle position electric vac switch,,,, or a slim carb spacer plate with a vac port between the carb and intake, if u dont want to drill a lil hole in your intake.

the bypass valve needs to see manifold vacuum, so it closes the bypass when there is positive pressure (boost) and opens the bypass when there is negative (vacuum).

im hoping the vacuum pump works. I can not fit a spacer as the carb had already contacts the hood when closed. I called gz motorsports and they sell a kit to run on the serpentine and i believe if i get another tensoiner from vortech i can adapt it to make it my belt tensioner.

Stop Stop..... wow....

The valve NEEDS to refrence vacuum off your motor.

Do not waste your money on a vacuum pump if you don't need one.

The valve operates by staying open under vacuum and closes at wide open throttle or 0"(+) when under boost.

If you were to hook up a vacuum pump to it it would stay open 24-7 and you'd never see full boost if any.

Why do you even need a vacuum pump for this set up? That aside do a little more research on how a vacuum pump works and is hooked up before moving on.

Now pony up and drill a vacuum port on the intake.

+1 A vacuum pump and canister is for running vacuum accessories like power brakes and early factory AC systems that need constant vacuum to operate. Like Fostang said, if you run constant vacuum from a canister to the bypass valve, it's going to constantly be open, bleeding off all your positive air pressure.

I have done research I was not initially going to run this to a vacuum pum I was going to evac the crank case and run my brakes off the vacuum pump. Thanks for the responses looks like I'll be pulling the intake off.
