go with a steeda tri-ax, pro5.0 or a MGW over a ford racing shifter.

not saying the ford shifter is bad, its just that there is alot of better choices out there

i believe the ford racing shifter is the same unit as a steeda tri-ax. for some parts, ford does not manufacture their own, but instead have other reputable companies manufacture for them. check out steed's website and you can find both shifters and they look identical except for the engraving on the base.

best price i've found new, http://www.thefordsource.com/store/motorsports/shifters.htm

i have one, but i haven't installed it yet.

I thought it was a Hurst unit. You may be right though.

yeah. thats what I thought too, looking at the second shifter in the link, that does look like a tri-ax.

if thats a real tri-ax and not a knock off, thats a good price.
