just took my bone stock 93 5.0 mustang to the test only and it failed. The HC were at 1000 for the 15mph and 1100 for the 25mph test. Does anyone know if it could be the cats are no good or the smog pump is no good. can anyone help

Could be a few things, either you need a tune up real bad, your cats are dead or bad O2, engine coolant temp sensor or a combination of all of these.

well just did a complete tune up, so it could be the other things.

Yes not the sensor for the gauge but for the ECU.
