I read that 91-93 fox's have wider front fenders. My question is how much wider are they and how can you tell them from the earlier year fenders?

The 91-93 are tapered forward. The 87-90 come almost straight down in the front.

It's about 7/8" difference. I cut and rewelded mine so I could use the 91-93 fender extenders.

O ok ...so what part of the fender did you have the to cut?

The area in front of the wheel where the fender extension (ground affects piece at bottom)is between front bumper and wheel. They opened up the wheel well to accomindate the 16" pony wheel.
