so i just finished my car but when i went to start it for the first time there's nothing. my battery is brand new and so is everything else as well. i get power and everything but when i turn the key to start my engine doesn't even crank over at all. the starter is brand new and i had it checked so i know it's good. checked my grounds and they are tight and everything. What are some things i should check for? i hate electrical so i get frustrated hella fast with this shit. thanks.

yea me and my buddy checked it and the wire that signals the starter solenoid got disconnected some how during the install. i couldn't see it because i had wire loomed it and taped it up. so we tested it and we weren't getting any power to it. we hooked it back up and it started but now one of my dam fuel injectors is leaking so i have to fix that cause it's not holding fuel pressure but that's bout it. man my neighbors are going to hate me this shit is loud. haha fuck it it's a v8 rite. lol thanks for the replies guys.
