Qucik question how do you adjust stud mount rockers?

The locks on stud rockers are two pieces. Loosen the center locking screw with a hex key, adjust the outer nut with a wrench and while still holding the outer nut with the wrench, tighten the set screw with the hex key.
How tight the outer nut needs to be depends on whether you have hydraulic or solid lifters. You want the set screws tight so a T handle hex driver is helpful.

tighten 1/2 to a quarter turn after zero valve lash. make sure the valve is closed in reference to the cam
