so basically i finally got my posi and gears installed. and the beginning of my problems start. -i brakes are being difficult and i dont have the little piece to bleed them because i replaced one of the wheel cylinders. so i have to get it towed to les schwab to get them bled. -while i was waiting i figured i should start it up and back it out. doesnt start. jump the car and starts up i leave it running for like 20 min. take off the alternator and the car doesnt die . but i turn the car off and i try to start it back up and it wont start so i repeated the process and got the same results. so its gotta be the brand new napa battery i just bought. so it needs a charge over night or new battery. -so since the battery wont start i havta push it out and when i turn the wheel i realize the 245 45 17 tires i have in front are hitting the fender. so i also need new front tires 235 40 17s probly. -when i finally get it off and onto the tow truck i walk up the drive way and see a fluid of different colors is all over the drive way and in the garage where only my car has been. so now im leaking something to. now its at les schwab and its gonna get looked at in the morning.
like i said shitty night.

Dont let that get you down man,im sure its probably a bunch of simple things. On the starter issue make sure all your connections are clean and tight including the ground cable.Once you get that thing going again and burnin rubber down the block youll have a big on your face and wont even remember the shitty night.LoL You cant lift the front end a little so it wont rub or it wont be sitting level anymore?

If you are looking for a good shop there used to be a place called J&K Mustangs in Sac. They have pretty good prices, do good work, and are honest.
Good luck

first off why would u take the alt off to see if it stays running. of course it will untill it drains the battery dead. to test if u car stays running u need to disconnect the battery while its running this will determine if the alt is good or bad. or a guide on where to look next.

but now something new happened... the rear right brake smokes when i drive and when its parked. so idk if the axle seals are bad that i put in this week. but i heard it should be dripping on the ground but it isnt... and the brakes dont stop very hard. so i let the car sit for aout 20 min and when i touched the brakes the back ones are hella hot and the front ones are cool... so idk if they over adjusted the back brakes or my axle seals are bad the way i put them in....
