Sounds like you need a capacitor and are running out of power. Might wanna step up to a better alternater too.

ya a yellow top optima batt wouldnt be a bad idea but thats not ur main problem.
do u have a capacitor?
aftermarket deck? some people run stock decks and that can happen
do u have stock speakers or aftermarket?
possibaly a wire can not be makin proper contact [ November 01, 2008, 03:33 PM: Message edited by: F8LSN8K ]

could be a number of things, is it just the subs or the interior speakers cutting out? are the interiors amped? are they component speakers able to handle the amp or are they meant to run off the deck. you could have a bad ground, your amp could be going into protect or getting too hot. you may need to run a power cap

Which alternator are you running? Also, it could be that your amp is overheating. What is the impedence of your subs? how are they wired? Series or paralell?

Ive seen some good ideas but do you got factory premium sound? I know you gotta bypass it or you can run into similar problems.

check your ground for the radio first... you have too much current going to the radio, sometime i see some of the cheap radios do shut off when installing beat. does your radio dim when the beat is on?
