hey everyone. i waz wondering if anyone has any ideas on how i can add more HP to my 2001 cobra without having to do any major purchases? any ideas?? The cobra is all stock.

bolt-ons are the easiest.. full exhaust with long tube headers, pulleys, atleast a 4.10 rear gear... even tho i prefer 4.30's... an intake of some sort, JLT makes a quality one... and if you want more than that... get a nitrous kit.. but make sure to get tuned for it... hope this helps...

I don't recommend doing pulley's on a 4.6, the balancer is integrated in the crank pulley...

Define "major" purchase. Start with exhaust. You can also get a NOS kit. Those are probably your best bets.
Pulley's and a CAI may get you marginal gains but I don't think very much.
Best bet is to break bread and get a blower ![[Smile]](smile.gif)

i would not supercharge that car unless u are planning on building the bottom end to hold it..if not then do all the bolt ons to run 12s and if u want 11s then SQEEZE!!!!!

4.30's
with a 2.0 60' car went 13.0's @ 109 consistantly
BONE stock car went 13.4 2.1 60' @ 102
and with the mods, 150 shot un-tuned it went 12.0 @ 118 with 1.9 60'
all was un-tuned.....prolly the reason its getting a motor now. lol. o well.....itll be a different car when its done.
btw, 4.30's and the instant TQ of nitrous is a very good feeling.
