Author Topic: 3g alternator upgrade on 1986?? fastertoys1 ¯ Member # 5270 posted                              im upgrading my alt to a 3g but the 86 alt harness hass less wires then my budds 1990. my harness is also short one yellow wire that also plugs into the new 3g alt. any one know how to do the upgrade to a 86? If you get a pa wiring harness you can splice it into your harness.
