I just bought a slightly used Flowmaster catback. It's missing the 2 muffler clamps & I was wondering if these would work. I don't wanna have to get anything welded at the muffler shop. Anyone ever use these lap joint clamps? Think these would work better than the standard clamps?

I have set of those that i used on my old exh and they are pretty good ... They can actually hold some torque also w/o being stripped out.

afaik that's the same clamp style used by big rigs on their exhaust, can't imagine a street car having an issue with them.
