I have a dealer ( amsoil) that runs a 2003 Dodge hemi 5L and runs 4.10's and he goes well above 130 mph. so it should be no problem. I'm guessing the person who told you 80mph what talking about revving out 4th gear or even 3rd." I have 3:73's on a 26" tire and I max out 3rd at around 85mph. with a bigger tire maybe 90mph.thats with a factory t-5 trans.
