i have a 2001 mustang gt and i was thinking about cutting the hood so the air going in my hood scoop would actually make it to the motor, anyone have suggestions? ideas? Advice?

not yet, but the person i bought the car from took the front honey comb out of the scoop so now when i drive on the freeway all the air goes into the scoop and has nowhere to go and the scoop is lookin like its trying to break off
