Author Topic: throttle bracket for carb application ??? Dag302 ¯ Member # 4682 posted                              This is my first time doing anything with a carb. I need to hook up the throttle cable and kickdown on a 69 Mustang to a Holley 650dp. Is there any inexpensive bracket that can be used for the time being? -------------------- 04 Expedition 4X4 93 Cobra #822 96 Cobra Posts: 2842 | From: Sacramento | Registered: Jul 2004  |  : Mean2001GT ¯ Member # 1750 posted                              for the kick-down, i just use a 1/4" bolt with washers and a ny-lock nut. if there is a stud on the carb to the KD already, there is an "E" clip that is supposed to fit in the groove. i can't remember if it's a rod or a cable. so if it's a cable, the GM adapter works well with a ball stud. if it's the rod type, push nuts work great for securing the rod to the carb. -------------------- --Silver 2001 GT-- 13.020 @ 110.46 340.2 rwhp 339.8 rwtq Posts: 158 | From: San Ramon, CA | Registered: Aug 2002  |  :
